Even though no one but us gets the moderator bar obscuring the view of open space at the top of this page, above the LV banner graphic, it matters to me that the top be clear of debris. I realize this site is very personal to me and that we'll need something different for the business. Example of why I am thinking of losing at least some of the templates: Here is a link to the width gauge, isolate in the browser, to an extent. The code to insert the width gauge anywhere you want it (this is a cohesive package that is fully self sufficient able to function almost no matter where you stick this one line: One place it will not work is to the left of the admin link. Here is the code for the admin link: Usually, sticking something just before or after something else will put the two together on your screen. But not when the code you are trying to get next to is inside one of these windows: No php in that window. I guess you can do some kind of hook thing with xf, but the coding lanaguage is unique to xf. But xf is strategic. That is why I am not sure. But how do I get the width gauge in where I want it. I think the way it's done is to make a weird class thing, like I had to do for the stripes to work in xf. To get the online marker right, the way I do it, relies on knowing the screen width where the size of the avatar changes, requiring a different adjustment for the online marker: That code does the change at 600px, but that is not right. screenwidth gauge would be handy about now. I don't have an easy way to get it into this system, due the to the templates and my lack of knowledge about how to extend the class library in xf that the templates can understand.
